So what originally started out as me just using Aussie Sprunch Mousse and Spray went south FAST. I used the rest of the Mielle Oats and Honey leave-in conditioner. Then the sprunch Mousse followed by the Sprunch Spray. I saw that my hair wasn't getting any definition and it was actually poofy. It wasn't feeling hard or sticky either. See I was hoping for a feather light, defined and airy style from that Sprunch. Not for my hair type! Then I went through and started raking the Garnier Fructis Anti-Frizz Serum through my hair to see if that would help with Frizz and definition. It helped with frizz a little. The serum actually works well when used with a styling cream. Finally, I became desperate because I couldn't take this frizz ball that was forming on my head though soft. Here was the chance to try that 4U Strong Hold Gel. I went back and layered my hair with that. I know this gel is good for slicking back the hair and edges but I have never tried it as a wash and go. I hate the STICKY feel of the 4U products right after application before it dries. I would rather have a greasy feel before my hair dries if that makes any sense. I wash my hands after either way and always go for the touchable style. If a product feels sticky or greasy after it dries I will not use it again. I always go for a touchable finish with any product.
Day 3: Take down with just water. I'm pretty sure just the gel is doing most of the work. Hair kept it's cast. Definitely on days 2 and 3 I see some spots in the back that need some serious attention but I'm not going anywhere so I wont be using extra product. I also dont care for the smell of the 4U gel. My hair feels so crunchy maybe I didn't use enough moisturizer underneath.
